Hi Guido,
the fresh checkout works correctly, thanks.
The problem might be related with the SVN version. This what different machines give:
1. MacBook, OS X 10.6, SVN 1.6.5 (r38866) -> does not update
2. Ubuntu 8.04 LTS 64 bits, SVN 1.5.1 (r32289) -> does not update
3. Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, SVN 1.4.6 (r28521) -> update correctly
Maybe it is related with the version of SVN on your server.
cheers,
Stefano
