[gecode-users] Own branching strategy - commit

Hello,
I would like to implement my own branching strategy. I examined the black-hole.cc and the queen-arimes.cc files but I do not understand very well the commit method. More precisely :
- what is the "a" parameter for ? 
- what are nq and eq ?
