Ok. I have to deal with this by other means.

AFAIK "assign" means to just set the domain bounds to the same value, right?
This would help in case of not-over-constrained problem. But in general, I
must assume the problem is over-constrained. It seems  I need something like
setting preference on some value in the domain. Is something similar possible?
